Submit your award application and your organization may become a Utah Building Energy Efficiency Strategies (UBEES) Energy Champion.

Tell  about your work to save energy, enforce or go beyond the energy code, and/or inspire others to do the same.  Awards will be given at the Utah ENERGY STAR® Summit on October 8, 2010 during lunch at the South Towne Expo Center. Questar’s Therm shall be the Master of Ceremonies and the award will presented by the Utah Governor’s Energy Advisor Office.

UBEES is looking for entries in the following categories:

• Utah Schools: (K-12 and Higher Education)
• Utah Real Estate Group
• Utah Business or Non Profit Organization
• Utah Energy Performance Benchmarking Partner
• Utah Contractor or Builder
• Utah Design Team
• Utah City or County Government

Submit a maximum one page summary and no more than five digital slides with photos or graphics about your energy saving story (PowerPoint preferred) to ubees@utah.gov by September 15, 2010. You can find more information and a form at www.utah.gov/ustar/documents/199.pdf.

Please include the application cover sheet with the entry title, the affiliated organization, award category, and the name, phone number and e-mail of a contact person for your company or organization. The top nominees and winners will be featured on the UBEES webpage and winners will also receive a certificate from the Governor’s Office.
